I primed black then used dollarstore Ivory paint to drybrush them and put a wash of red on top. From there I used silver paint on the equipment. The base was drybrushed with different shades of brown and the building ruins were done in shades of grey. Then the base was flocked.
Some of the figs can be removed. In the rules you can have some bases as command ones.
