Bat Signal

I have finished the Batsignal from Knight Models, for use in the Batman Miniature Game. Made mostly of MDF, it was easy to put together with the help of an elastic. Painted dollarstore silver and Rhulic Gold with Bastion Grey on the upper and lower rings. Unfortunately when I used Gorilla glue to affix the lens over the Batsignal, I forgot to remove a plastic film on the inside part of the lens. It then fogged up with no chance at removal. The On/Off plates were painted Arcane Blue.

Lemax Plaza / Batpark

I saw a Lemax Plaza system and thought it would make good terrain for modern or future settings...with a little help. You can make it any shape you wish as it is modular. It also makes for a great Batpark.
Its great open terrain that can have benches, garbage cans, hot dog stands, and lampposts for cover but have themed openness. Will eventually get accessories to fill it.

The Lemax kit itself needed help as it was kind of ready out of the box but not quite.

I first primed it black, except for the grassy parts. The painted it various shades of dollarstore grey. I then used gorilla glue to stick flock to some cracks to make it look older. I then sprayed with part glue part water and added GW green grass flock and GF9 Dead Grass flock.

Also added GF9 Dead Grass in between various cracks of the tiled pavement.

For a statue, I bought a Batman plastic figure at the dollar store.
Primed black then painted dollarstore bronze, then Dwarf Bronze. I then put little pigeon droppings on a shoulder. It stuck it to a base from the top of a spray paint can (painted various greys) and stuck a bent plasticard on it painted bronze as well.
I added graffiti in the form of "Kick Me" on the back...exactly something the Joker or another of Batman's more loonier villains would do.
When deciding what configuration I would use, I can up with the below.
I then got the idea to stack one on top of the other, at least until I get another set or an expansion with just the squares. It does not stay together well and I'll have to make a thin base of some sort for storage and transportation.
So it came together quite well, I think.

Dead Outlaws

The Dead Outlaws are Outcast models that are hard to wound, if at five or more wounds and an enemy scheme marker is placed nearby it can discard it, and when dies can place a scheme marker  beside it friendly to the crew that killed it. Also has an interesting melee attack, and an interesting ranged attack that has many four triggers but only on masks and tomes. Also has an interesting ability that gives a condition to a nearby model that forces it to only walk or take interact actions unless it takes damage or places a scheme marker.

Primed black. Skin painted Khardic Flesh, drybrushed mix Midlund Flesh/Necrotite Green, lightly drybrushed mix Ryn Flesh/Necrotite Green, and washed with GW Green wash.
Used various paints and drybrushing techniques for the clothes.
Gun drybrushed Pig Iron.
Base done with Basius 2 Homestead plate. Painted dollarstore black, heavily drybrushed Umbral Umber, drybrushed Bloodstone, lightly drybrushed Rucksack Tan. Entire model washed with GW Agrax Earthshade. Outer rim painted Moldy Ochre.

The Three Bandidos

The Bandidos are minions included in the "Fistful of Script" crew box. Bulletproof, converts nearby enemy scheme markers to friendly ones, places scheme marker in base contact when dies, and pushes itself in a defensive dual with a mask trigger. Also has a decent ranged/melee attack and the Run and Gun two action ability is very useful to get out of trouble and attack hard to hit models.

Primed black. Skin painted Khardic Flesh, drybrushed Midlund Flesh, lightly drybrushed Ryn Flesh.
Used various paints and drybrushing techniques for the clothes. For the red hair, Skorne Red, drybrushed Khador Red Highlight, lightly drybrushed mix Khador Red Highlight/Menoth White Highlight.
For the yellow hair, Khador Red Highlight, drybrushed Sulfur Yellow, lightly drybrushed Cygnar Yellow.
Gun drybrushed Pig Iron. Goggles painted Bloodstone for the straps, Pig Iron for around the goggles, and Arcane Blue for the lenses.

Mad Doc Brackett

The main henchman for Parker Burrows, in the Fistful of Script crew box, is Mad Dog Brackett. Bulletproof +1, placing friendly scheme markers after a kill, claiming nearby enemy scheme markers at the end of the game, and positive flips on attack and damage if four or less wounds are the model's core abilities. Mad Dog's shotgun ranged and burning cigar melee attacks are accurate and have good triggers. With rapid fire as well as the zero action disregarding cover ability it makes this model a perfect choice for the Parker Burrow's crew scheme manipulation abilities.

Primed black. Skin painted Khardic Flesh, drybrushed Midlund Flesh, lightly drybrushed Ryn Flesh. Pants, gloves, and hat painted Gun Corps Brown and drybrushed Hammerfall Khaki. Shirt painted Coal Black, drybrush of Trollblood Base, lighter drybrush of Underbelly Blue. Boots painted Umbral Umber. Cloak painted Skorne Red, drybrushed Khador Red Base, and lightly drybrushed mix Khador Red Base/Menoth White Highlight. Gunbelt painted Umbral Umber, drybrushed Beast Hide. Guns drybrushed Pig Iron with grips painted Gun Corps Brown. Goggles painted with Pig Iron then lenses painted Arcane Blue. Goggle strap painted Bloodstone. Quicksilver used on belt buckle and pant buttons. Mustache painted Khador Red Base and drybrushed Khador Red Highlight.

Base done with Basius 2 Steampunk plate. Painted dollarstore black, heavily drybrushed Umbral Umber, drybrushed Bootstrap Leather, lightly drybrushed Rucksack Tan. Rail painted Pig Iron. Entire model washed with GW Agrax Earthshade. Outer rim painted Moldy Ochre.

Parker Burrows

Available in the Fistful of Script box, Parker Burrows is a sneaky leader of his crew. His main powers have to do with manipulating enemy or friendly scheme markers, adding cards, extra moves, or getting soulstones. Also has excellent ranged/melee abilities, can push friends, and attach upgrades. The "Hands in the Air" ability can penalize an enemy forcing them to discard soulstones or forgo tactical actions.

Primed black. Skin painted Khardic Flesh, drybrushed Midlund Flesh, lightly drybrushed Ryn Flesh. Pants painted Thamar Black and drybrushed Coal Black. Shirt painted Coal Black, drybrush of Trollblood Base, lighter drybrush of Underbelly Blue. Boots and cloak painted Battlefield Brown and drybrushed Iridian Flesh. Vest and gunbelts painted Umbral Umber, drybrushed Beast Hide. Gunbelts lightly drybrushed Pig Iron on the bullet parts. Guns also drybrushed Pig Iron with grips painted Gun Corps Brown. Gloves painted Thamar Black.

Scarf painted Skorne Red, drybrushed Khador Red Base, lightly drybrushed mix Khador Red Base/Menoth White Highlight. Goggles painted with Pig Iron then lenses painted Arcane Blue. Quicksilver used on vest buttons and belt buckle. Base done with Basius 2 Steampunk plate. Doc Mitchell

In the Parker Burrows Outcast crew box is Doc Mitchell, Parker's totem. Although insignificant and immune to focused and defensive conditions, the model has some upsides. It is immune to poison, can push 5" towards a friendly bandit, can heal models and with the right trigger can give hard to wound. Does have a weak melee attack and the ranged attack can only be used once per turn.

Primed black. Skin painted Khardic Flesh, drybrushed Midlund Flesh, lightly drybrushed Ryn Flesh. Pants painted Thamar Black and drybrushed Coal Black then lightly drybrushed Trollblood Base. Jacket painted same with a lighter drybrush of Underbelly Blue. Boots painted Battlefield Brown and drybrushed Iridian Flesh.
Bag and hat painted Gun Corps Brown, drybrushed Hammerfall Khaki. Mustache painted Thamar Black and drybrushed Coal Black. Glasses painted Pig Iron with the lenses painted Arcane Blue. Base made from Basius 2 Steampunk plate, painted dollarstore black, heavily drybrushed Umbral Umber, drybrushed Bootstrap Leather, lightly drybrushed Rucksack Tan. Snake painted Gnarls Green, drybrushed Ordic Olive, lightly drybrushed Necrotite Green. An Army Painter "Wasteland Tuft" was applied in the back. Entire model washed with GW Agrax Earthshade. Armorcast - Ruined Buildings

From Armorcast, these OOP buildings were acquired in a gamestore sometime during my travels during the last two decades. They have the ability to have partial second floors and are designed for 25-28mm scale. With the 32mm scale Batman models, they are a little small but will do just fine. Even though these are OOP the Armorcast company does have a range of ruined building corners available here.

I primed it black, then added layers of dark to light dollarstore red paint. For the doors it was a red/yellow blend. For the windows to simulate broken glass, I used dollarstore light blue then applied a wash to it.

I also added some signage, election posters (Elect Galavan for Mayor from the Gotham TV series), and police tape. I used Gorilla Wood glue on the back and front of the signs and tape. It dries clear.
Its good to have some rough terrain in the game and once I make some ruined building interior, from leftover model sprues, it should look a little better.

Gaslands - Destructable Obstructions

In Gaslands, there are many types of obstructions. One of these is the destructible kind, meaning that once hit and the damage check done it is removed from the table.
I started with dollar store wooden blocks and instead of having them individually on the board put them in blocks of four. Wanted to stack them in groups of three but were not stable enough nor high enough.
I then glued it with handy Gorilla wood glue.
Then painted them silver dollarstore paint.
Then I used a paint pen to draw lines to make them look more like metallic containers. They suited very well on the first full game I played with a friend and his son, with his son winning in a hovercar (using the tracks upgrade as a stand in for hover).
