The Drowned are solid Malifaux Resurrectionist melee minions that can cause extra damage shenanigans to models in hazardous terrain. Works well with Jaakuma Ubume and other models that create hazardous terrain around them. These are the first edition metal models.
I bought these already assembled and painted, as pictured below. I wanted to add some drybrushing and change the skin to the undead skin tones I've used for my other undead models.
I repainted the skin Khardic Flesh, drybrushed mix Midlund Flesh/Wurm Green, and added Ryn Flesh to the previous mix and lightly drybrushed with that. On the brown parts drybrushed Beast Hide and on the yellow parts drybrushed Mouldy Ocre. Redid hair with Thamar Black, drybrushed Coal Black, and drybrushed mix Coal Black/Menoth White Highlight. Painted Cold Steel on top of the metal parts. Washed the skin with Thraka Green and the whole model with Agrax Earthshade. Base rim was painted over with Iosan Green. Puddles painted Meridius Blue and Arcane Blue.
