With a high armour, especially when base-to-base and weaponmaster steam mallets, they are a force to be reckoned with. They are able to be hired by Khador as well as Cygnar. In a Cygnar army Jonas Murdoch is an auto include for Dig In and a Journeyman Warcaster with Arcane Shield can make them tougher.
Primed black.
A heavy drybrush of P3 Hammerfal Khaki.
I did this to ensure the black parts in the shaded and recessed areas of the armour stood out.
P3 Gun Corps Brown was used as shading and a 50/50 blend of P3 Hammerfall Khaki and Menoth White Highlight was lightly painted on the raised areas. Then P3 Ironhull Grey was used on the metal bits.
GW Dark Flesh was used on the exposed faces then heavily drybrushed with GW Dwarf Flesh and very lightly drybrushed with GW Elf Flesh. P3 Cold Steel was drybrushed on the metal bits.
The 50/50 blend was reapplied to the faceshield area to cover the facepaint. Then GW Runelord brass on the chestplate and hammer detail areas.
P3 Bootstrap Leather was used on the backpack and straps.
P3 Traitor Green was used on the bedroll. GW Scab red then a drybrush of GW Blood Red was used on the shoulder accents. P3 Arcane Blue was used on the glass in the goggles.
Then the model was washed with P3 Devlan Mud and the base painted with P3 Bootstrap Leather.
And then basing with GW gravel (the older kind with stones) and grass.
The group Sergeant.
And his back.
A grunt sculpt.
Another grunt.
and the final grunt.
