Nurses

These are Nurses for Malifaux. They are part of the resurrectionist faction but can work for Dr McMourning and Jack Daw. They give out poison at close range which is deadly for enemy models but can be good for some friendly ones who benefit from them. Can also heal, give melee buffs, movement buffs, and armor. The models pictured here are the two first edition metal models and the two second edition ones from the Body of Evidence crew box but can be purchased separately. The two in the middle are the plastic ones.
Primed white. Skin painted Khardic Flesh, drybrushed Midlund Flesh, and lightly drybrushed mix Ryn Flesh/Sulfur Yellow. Reason for the Sulfur Yellow is that in the background fluff, their boss, Dr McMourning, has gifted women with the skins of beautiful dead women in exchange for assisting him in the morgue and with his extra curricular experiments. The skin has to be replaced once in a while so wanted a little bit of "getting old skin" look. Gross I know but it fits the Malifaux theme.
Nurse outfits painted Menoth Whight Highlight and drybrushed Morrow White. Trim painted Thamar Black. Red painted Skorne Red and drybrushed Khador Red Base. Metal done with Cold Steel. Syringes painted Necrotite Green. Shoes painted Coal Black and drybrushed Underbelly Blue. The jars one nurse has are painted either Meridius Blue or Frostbite.
Blonde hair painted Heartfire, drybrushed Sulfur Yellow, and lightly drybrushed Cygnar Yellow. Black hair painted Thamar Black, drybrushed Coal Black, and lightly drybrushed mix Coal Black/Menoth White Highlight. Brown Hair painted Battlefield Brown, drybrushed Iridian Flesh, lightly drybrushed Beast Hide.
Bases are from the first edition Malifaux line and are metal bases. I'm sure they will come back in some form in their new plastic bases that they are developing. Tile painted Trollblood Base, drybrushed Meridius Blue, lightly drybrushed Arcane Blue, and an even lighter drybrush mix Arcane Blue/Menoth White Highlight. Concrete painted Cryx Bane Highlight, drybrushed Trollblood Highlight. Metal painted Cold Steel and highlighted Platinum. Wood painted Battlefield Brown, drybrushed Bloodstone, and lightly drybrushed Rucksack Tan. Rats painted Thamar Black, drybrushed Cryx Bane Highlight, and lightly drybrushed Trollblood Highlight. Tails painted Carnal Pink. Eyes painted Khador Red Highlight.
On the base I made organs and blood pools with Kneadite. Reason is to better adhere the model on the base. Organs textured with dental tools, painted Sanguine Highlight, and drybrushed with Carnal Pink. Blood pools brushed with Skorne Red, and dappled with Khador Red Highlight. Entire model washed with Agrax Earthshade then dabs of GW Blood for the blood god applied. Outer rim painted with Iosian Green.

The Hanged are a Malifaux Resurectionist model. It has a very high "terrifying" score of 13, incorporeal, an excellent attack called "Whispers form Beyond" as well as some minor abilities. These are the older first edition metal models.
I also received these previously assembled and painted. I repainted the skin Khardic Flesh, drybrushed mix Midlund Flesh/Wurm Green, and added Ryn Flesh to the previous mix and lightly drybrushed with that. On the brown parts drybrushed Beast Hide and on the yellow parts drybrushed Mouldy Ocre. Redid hair with Thamar Black, drybrushed Coal Black, and drybrushed mix Coal Black/Menoth White Highlight. Washed the skin with Thraka Green and the whole model with Agrax Earthshade. Base rim was painted over with Iosan Green.

The Drowned

The Drowned are solid Malifaux Resurrectionist melee minions that can cause extra damage shenanigans to models in hazardous terrain. Works well with Jaakuma Ubume and other models that create hazardous terrain around them. These are the first edition metal models.
I bought these already assembled and painted, as pictured below. I wanted to add some drybrushing and change the skin to the undead skin tones I've used for my other undead models.
Painted Cold Steel on top of the metal parts. Washed the skin with Thraka Green and the whole model with Agrax Earthshade. Base rim was painted over with Iosan Green.
