Karina is Tara's totem/enforcer and this model was in the Nightmare edition of Tara's crew box. She can give burning and slow/fast to buried models plus summon models. She also has a tricky bash attack.
Primed black the skin was painted with Khadric Flesh, drybrushed with Midlund Flesh and lightly drybrushed with Ryn Flesh. The hair was painted Thamar Black and drybrushed with Coal Black. The dress was painted with Trollblood Blueand drybrushed with Underbelly Blue and lightly drybrushed with a 50/50 blend of Underbelly Blue and Menoth White Highlight. The trim was done with Thamar Black.
The gun was painted with Cold Steel and drybrushed with Quicksilver. The right hand was lightly brushed with Sulfur Yellow and even lightly drybrushed with Cygnar Yellow for a glow effect. Boots were painted with Umbral Umber and drybrushed with Beast Hide. The right arm (her summoning arm) I washed with Ogryn Flesh and drybrushed with Cygnar Yellow. I should have graded it a little more. I then washed the rest of the model with Agrax Earthshade and dabbed a little GW Blood for the Blood God on her dress like in her picture.
The base is made from a Basius 2 Victoriana plate. It was painted with dollarstore Black, heavily drybrushed with Sanguine Highlight, drybrushed with Skorne Red and lightly drybrushed with Khador Red highlight mixed 50/50 with Menoth White Highlight. The outer base was painted with Moldy Ocre and the other side with Iosian Green for her two factions.
