Aquan Planetfall - Ground Command Helix

This is the last of the Aquan Planetfall models I needed to assemble and paint, the Ground Command Helix. It is made up of the Malani heavy command barge, two Votari crystals, four Marana recon tanks, and a Grand Company (Officer base, three Sweeper teams, 3 Field Gun teams, and two infantry bases).

The Malani heavy command barge used the same paints as the Aerial Interceptor helix

Same as the Marana light recon tanks.
All the infantry used the same paints as the Light infantry upgrade

Aquan Planetfall Light Infantry Upgrade

The Aquan Infantry upgrade is comprised of nine field gun bases, nine sweeper team bases, and three officer bases. They can be added to the core helix for more points.

The field gun bases were primed black. Infantry heavily drybrushed pink and lightly drybrushed light pink with silver on their upper back armor and hand weapons. The gun barrier was heavily drybrushed ivory, lines of GW Beiltan Green wash, and entirely washed with Draknof Nightshade, then a dark and light purple on the lower center middle triangle. The weapon was painted orange and drybrushed bright yellow. The base painted dark brown and drybrushed light brown with tufts of GW grass.

The Sweeper team riders and gun painted as per above. The reptiles painted dark green, then drybrushed light green, then lightly drybrushed mix light green and ivory. Then the eyes and nose globe painted orange and nose globe drybrushed bright yellow.

The officer base painted as per above. The staff painted silver, then the tip painted dark blue and drybrushed light blue.

Aquan Planetfall - Aerial Ground Attack Helix

These are the models in the Aquan Planetfall Areal Ground Attack Helix. Two Kalari ground attack heavy gunships and three Comand ground attack gunships. I painted them the same as my Aerial Interceptor Helix.

Aquan Planetfall - Aerial Interceptor Helix

The Spartan games Aquan Planetfall Aeriel Interceptor helix.

It was painted mostly with dollar store paints, GW washes, and Army painter gloss varnish. It is an enhancement to my Medium Skimmer model paint scheme

The paint scheme for my planetfall Aquan vehicles will now be: Krylon Black priming, Ivory dollarstore rough drybrush, Bieltan Green in lined patterns, entirely washed with Draknnof Nightshade, Dark Purple dollarstore on certain parts then drybrushed with lighter purple, raised nodules orange dollarstore then highlighted with yellow dollarstore, some metal parts painted with silver dollarstore, then the whole model varnished with Army Painter gloss varnish.
It comes with one Votori Heavy Gunship.
It also comes with four Minnari Interceptors.

Pyramid

This pyramid is actually a Ferrero Rocher container. I sprayed it with sandy spackle that I had lying around. No other adornments are required and was made with things I had lying around. Some Wizkids Mechwarrior figs next to it for scale.

More Modular Weapons Platforms

These Modular Weapons Platforms for Dystopian Wars are additions to the two I made in 2014 that have been sitting around. A Britannia MK II medium tank is included for scale. This brings me to a total of six. Can also be used for Horizon Wars as interesting terrain. This finishes the official Dystopian Wars scenery that I had around. Now onto other gaming systems for a bit before working on the Covenant of Antarctica models.

Another Military Island Base

Way back in 2014 I finished one of these but received another one is a two player set. I have now finished the second one and like my paint scheme for it better than the first one. This can be used for sea or air, and can also be used for Horizon Wars games. There is a Britannia cruiser beside it for scale.

Mines

These mines are for Dystopian Wars, primarily, but can be used for any of my miniature games for sea, land, or sky. There is an indent to put a die in to indicate their strength. There is a Britannia cruiser among them for scale.

Oil Rig

This Dystopian Wars oil rig was made for the "Battle for Iceland" set and I have finally finished it. Beside it is a Britannia cruiser for scale. It will make for a great naval or land terrain piece. It can also be used with my Horizon Wars games.

Prussian Empire - All my Models

Here is the entirety of my Prussian Forces: Land, Sea, and Air. Its just over 9000 points worth and average games use 1500, so lots of options. The only thing I would do differently is to paint them at the same time, as there are differences in paint colour used and techniques. Of course I did take 7 years to paint everything with models purchased over 4 years.

The paint scheme has been refined to the following: prime black, heavily drybrush mix of 2/3 Cold Steel and 1/3 Frostbite, wood floorboards Rucksack Tan, Cold Steel on weapons and dodads, Molten Bronze on details, and Arcane Blue on windows, wash of Nuln Oil.

These models can also be used for my Horizon Wars miniature game.

Now that I have the bad guys painted, its time to work on the neutral forces: Covenant of Antarctica! That was the Spartan Games name though as under Warcradle they are known as the Covenant of the Enlightened. I am thinking green colours and washes. That should take a lot less time and be more coherent paint job, as I have not painted any of them yet.
I have the most with the naval forces, just over 4000 points.

Land forces I have almost 3500 points.
For my air forces there are just under 1500 points.

I also have a bunch of infantry, 640 points worth that were painted specifically to be used with any factions.
The only Prussian models that I have which have not been painted are 30 airplanes, which I do not need at this time. If all my plane carriers were on the table I would need 40. Of course if I also had my two neutral landing fields out I would need another 18 planes. Also depending on the size of the game I would need between 1 and 4 free wings. There is also the neutral light carriers that can hold planes...I think I have convinced myself to paint these 20 planes eventually.

Hydroponics Industry Buildings

I made these hydroponic industry buildings out of recycled dental storage trays. Perfect for 10mm Horizon Wars figs or Planetfall models.

Green Buildings

Made these Green buildings out of recycled items. Could be barracks, research facilities, storage warehouses, etc. They are good for my 10mm scale Horizon Wars figs and will also be good for my Planetfall minis.

Here is what I made them with, two cookie containers and some random plastic bits.

European 10mm City Terrain

I have no idea who made this scenery but I picked it up really cheap and goes great with my 10mm Horizon Wars miniatures.

Plasticraft Large Platform

The Plasticraft Large Platform will be perfect for Star Wars Legion as well as other games requiring a platform. A simple felt covering will change this from future tech to a hill.
The scale is perfect with the 40mm Legion figures. I can also see its use for 10mm gaming as well.

It even has areas that can be used for internal rooms.

Horizon Wars - Large Military Building

So using items destined for the recycling bin, I made this large building for Horizon Wars which is made up of two single rectangular buildings. That way infantry can occupy each one. They were painted with dollar store paints.

I will be making more buildings of various scales using recycled items.

Tiny Terrain - 15mm Trenches

I picked up some 15mm Tiny Terrain from Miniature Market and put it together for Horizon Wars.
It was painted with dollarstore paints and finished off with GW Stirland Mud. The bases I chose for the infantry are a little too big for this but will do just fine.
The larger vehicle entry trenches are just right.
They also look great from the side. Miniature Market did not have the corners when I ordered these but will pick some up the next order I make.
They do not look great for 28-32mm scale but will do until I make some for SW Legion 40mm scale, which will look good for down to 28mm.

Horizon Wars - Insurgency Faction - Mechs and Aircraft

With my Insurgency faction, for Horizon Wars, I have finished the models I intend to use for Mechs and Aircraft. I used Wizkids Mechwarrior plastic miniatures in 10mm or 1/185 scale or between N and Z scale.

I wanted a few of different looks to showcase the fact the Insurgency repurposes what is available. Models shown here, left to right, are: 6 Light Mechs, 5 Medium Mechs, 2 Heavy Mechs.

Also 5 P1 Transport VTOL, 2 P1 VTOL attack choppers, 2 P2 VTOL attack choppers, 2 P3 VTOL Transport choppers.

Light P1 Mech, a modified mover mech built for close combat, the Dissident.

Light P1 Mech, a modified mover mech with flamer, the Renegade.

Light P1 Mech, a modified forestry mech with heat gun, the Subverter.

Same mech chassis but upgraded to a P2 with a gauss weapon and better melee weapon, the Revolutionary.

Medium P2 Mech, a modified construction Mech, the Nihilist.

Heavy P3 Mech, a modified mining Mech, the Agitator.

Light P1 Transport VTOL.

Light P1 VTOL aircraft, the Rascal.

Medium P2 aircraft, the Rogue.

Heavy P3 VTOL aircraft with transport capability, the Revenge.

So many Cops!

There are many, many models that have the Cop  keyword in the Batman Miniature Game, and very few are not part of the Law Forces faction. S...
