Combined Army Obsidon Medchanoid and Slave Drones

These models, the Óbsidon Medchanoid and Slave Drones, come in separate packs. They not only act as a doctor but also an engineer. The Medchanoid operates behind the lines and the drones do the fixing remotly. They are a good choice to keep my army up and fighting.
They were primed white, washed with GW Badab Black. Then brushed with PP Wurm Green, drybrushed with PP Necrotite Green then lightly drybrushed with 50/50 PP Battledress Green and Menoth White Highlight. PP Cold Steel was used on the metal parts. GW Thraka Green wash was applied over everything. Then the eyes were painted with PP Skorne Red and drybrushed with PP Khador Red Base.
They were based the same as my Combined Army starter box.

Combined Army Morat with HMG

For the sci-fi miniature tabletop game Infinity, this Morat with an HMG can lay down withering fire on anyone foolish enough to be seen by him. If he is laying supprssive fire, he gets full attacks, not just one.
Like the hacker, he is no longer shown on the company's website so I suspect a resulpt or repackaging. He's painted the same as the Rasyat with Spitfire.

Combined Army Morat Hacker

For the sci-fi miniature tabletop game Infinity, this Combined Army Morat Hacker will help to promote shenanigans in enemy forces that use a lot of electronics and cubes. He could also take control of an enemies powered suit.
There is no code or page for him anymore. I suspect he will be resulted and repackaged. I used the same paints as the Rasyats. I have said it before that you can really see your mistakes when looking at a close up digital picture of your model.

Combined Army Rasyat

For the sci-Fi miniatures game Infinity, this Rasyat jump trooper. He is a good support as he can start in reserves and accuratly deploy on the table during a turn.
He's painted the same way as my Rasyat with Spitfire.

Combined Army Rasyat with Spitfire

For the sci-fi miniature tabletop game Infinity, this Rasyat with Spitfire looks like he's in town to kick ass and chew bubblegum...and he's all out of bubblegum. These guys start off the table but can drop down with fair accuracy and skew your enemies plans.
This was also the last model for the 300pt sample list from the Infinity website. The Third edition of the game is due out later this year and I look forward to seeing what they will do.

This model was primed white and then washed with GW Badab Black. PP Traitor Green then  PP Wurm Green was used on the two sections of pants and lower torso armor. PP Arcane Blue was used for the other body armor. PP Coal Black then a drybrush of 50/50 PP Coal Black and PP Menoth White Highlight was used on the upper torso and gun. The hair was painted with P Arcane Blue then drybrushed with PP Frostbite. The front helmet and other areas were painted with PP Skorne Red then drybrushed with GW Red Gore then lightly drybrushed with Red Gore/Menoth White Highlight. The bright green areas were painted with PP Necrotire Green. Acsessories were painted with PP Battledress Green and lightly drybrushed with PP Hammerfall Khaki. The gloves were painted with PP Bootstrap Leather and drybrushed with Hammerfall Khaki. The whole model was then washed with GW Devlan Mud. The base was done the same as my Combined Army starter box here.

Speculo Killer

Here is the Speculo Killer, a Shasvasti infiltrator that assumes the identity of an enemy soldier and reveals herself at the opportune time. Also part of the 300 point Combined Army group that Corvus Belli recommends for starting players.
Here's what the studio painted her as.
She came in the Shasvastil Expeditionary Force boxed set.
Primed Krylon white.
I started with GW Goblin Green, then drybrushed GW Skorpion Green. Finally on the raised portions I lightly brushed on GW Knarloc Green.
The P3 Coal Black on the armor, P3 Cold steel both applied and drybrushed on various areas. Then P3 Hammerfall Khaki on the side temples. Then lightly drybrushed P3 Cryx Bane Highlight on the armor. The monofilament sword was painted with P3 Cygnar Yellow and drybrushed with P3 Menoth White Highlight. Finally on the forehead ridge I used GW Thraka Green.
The armor was washed in GW Devlan Mud and the body was washed in GW Gryphon Sepia. The base was based the same as my other Combined Army models.
And the back. Next will be the last model of the 300 pt list, the Morat Rasyat with Spitfire.

Noctifier with Combi Rifle

The Noctifier is a sneaky model, as all Shasvasti are, and can camouflage themselves to gain the upper hand on their enemy.

I started with a primed Krylon white model. The base was included with the blister and looks very nice. I then used P3 Ironhull Grey, drybrushed P3 Bastion Grey and a lighter drybrush of P3 Cryx Bane Highlight.
Then it was onto an even lighter drybrushing of GW Fortress Grey, a little GW Deneb Stone and for the cape GW Knarlok Green.

Then I applied GW Goblin Green and GW Skorpion Green to the cloak and armor, P3 Coal Black and P3 Cold Steel to the gun.
Finally a little P3 Menoth White highlight on the teeth and nails with a little GW Devlan Mud wash over everything.
For basing I used the same as my Combined Army starter.

Basing the Combined Army Starter Pack

The Combined Army starter pack was $42 Canadian at Dice Bag Games in Duncan, BC and is worth ~180 points. I've played two games with this set and its quite solid and enough rules for each of the models to get your feet wet.
 Here's the starter box.
Here's my models in a similar setup and pose as on the box frount. Close but not as bright as the box models, alas. I probably should have used less of the washes.

I want an alien like base to go with this faction so here goes.
Bases were painted P3 Traitor Green.
They were covered with dollar store paint and were then flocked with Woodland Scenics Yellow Grass, course turf.
I then flocked them again, without adding more glue, with Gall Force Nine's Winter Grass and pressed them together with my fingers.
I then dolloped some more glue on top and pressed a few Candlescaping Accents Red Stones in. Then i used a bit of red lichen.
Around the base I painted the back half GW Chaos Black and the front half GW Warlock Purple. To divide the colors I used a line of GW Skull White.

Now to move onto other projects for a while.

Charontid

A light-combat physical representation of the Evolved Intelligence, it commands the battlefield with limitless endurance. This model is the last of the six that were in the Combined Army starter pack.
 Primed White.
P3 Ironhull Grey, drybrushed P3 Bastion Grey and lighter drybrush of GW Codex Grey.
An light drybrush of GW Fortress Grey was used as the Codex Grey was very similar to the Bastion Grey. Go figure as they are similar in name. GW Fiery Orange was used on the articulated joints and drybrushed GW Golden Yellow.
GW Liche Purple was used on the extensions and drybrushed GW Warlock Purple. GW Red gore was used on some of the gems and this was drybrushed a mix of Red Gore and P3 Menoth White Highlight.
The purple wasn't bright enough so i highlighted with a mix of Warlock Purple and Menoth White Highlight. The remaining crystals were painted GW Snot Green and highlighted GW Scorpion Green.
Then it was washed in GW Gryphon Sepia.
Forgive the shadow. Didn't realize until I saw it on the computer after I based them.
And the back. Now onto basing.

Malignos

The Malignos are the Elite of the Shasvastii Continuum Expeditionary Forces, in the Combined Army. Having advanced camouflage they can lurk in the ruins and shadows until the best time to strike, which offsets their weak bodies.
 Primed white.
P3 Ironhull Grey and drybrushed  GW Codex Grey. P3 Cold Steel on the metal bits.
Even lighter drybrush of GW Fortress Grey. The LuLu Lemon jumpsuit (my wife's description) was painted GW Fiery Orange and drybrushed GW Golden Yellow.
The jumpsuit was then lightly drybrushed GW Sunburst Yellow. The pin-striping and visor was then painted GW Snot Green and drybrushed GW Scorpion Green. The helmet was drybrushed P3 Cold Steel.
A GW Thraka Green wash was applied to the dagger. His feet and hair were painted P3 Gun Corps Brown and drybrushed P3 Hammerfall Khaki. The chest armour and rifle was washed in GW Ashuruman Blue. The crystals were painted P3 Cygnar Base Blue and highlighted with P3 Cygnar Blue Highlight. The barrel was then painted GW Chaos Black.
Then he was washed in GW Gryphon Sepia.
And his back. Next will be the last model in the starter box, the Charontid.

So many Cops!

There are many, many models that have the Cop  keyword in the Batman Miniature Game, and very few are not part of the Law Forces faction. S...
