Kiljoy is also a ninja, of sorts. He can remain out of play until a friendly model is killed then he is summoned next to it. He's a hard hitter and can charge for one action. He's also really, really gross and that is saying a lot for the world of Malifaux.
Started primed white then washed with Badab Black to bring out the details. Slapped Khardic Flesh on with a drybrush of 50/50 Midlund Flesh and Thraka Green and a light drybrush of 50/50 Ryn Flesh and Thraka Green. Those mixes make for the putrefying flesh look. The wrist and legging straps were painted with Thamar Black, a drybrush of Coal Black and a lighter drybrush of 50/50 Coal Black and Menoth White Highlight.
The red parts (gross!) were painted with Sanguine Highlight, drybrushed with Skorne Red and lightly drybrushed with Khador Red base and because it was not bringing out the details enough another light drybrush with 50/50 Khador Red Base and Menoth White highlight. The metal parts were painted with Pig Iron and drybrushed and detailed with Quicksilver. The wooden butcher knife handle was painted with Umbral Umber with a drybrush of Bloodstone. The eyes were painted with Thamar Black.
The base was made with a Plaguelands Basius 2 plate, painted with dollarstore black, heavily brushed with Umbral Umber, drybrushed with Iridian Flesh and lightly drybrushed with Rucksack tan and Jackbone. The model was then glued onto the base and everything was washed with Agrax Nightshade. The blood details were added with the GW Blood for the Blood God technique paint.
