Duncan's Dice Bag Games Warmahordes 16 Player Mashup!

There was a great game at Dice Bag Games, in Duncan BC (just North of Victoria). Eight players per side and 50 points per player, with 20 minutes a side. The scenario objective was to use a model's magic ability to activate one of 4 gates so that a non-warcaster/warlock or jack/beast model could go through to another table to collect tokens. Then they had to bring them back through the gate and to their table edge. Oh...and the gate you came out of was randomized. One side was Hordes and Menoth and our side was Warmachine. No mercenaries or Minions allowed unless they were your primary faction.
I chose a Cygnar prime Haley list with a Squire, Defender, Cyclone, Thorn, Hunter, full unit of Longunners and UA and a full unit of Stormguard. Our side had two stormstriders and two colossal stormwalls but it wasn't enough for the fast Hordes and Menoth players.
We started at 10am and played three turns before lunch at 1pm. This is all I lost at that time.
I also could have had a caster kill with my Defender but those darn Menoth Bastions were too close (the Menoth caster is the primed black model amongst the bare Exemplars at the top center of the photo).

The game ended at about 4pm. Pretty good timing for such a large point value game, eh!

All in all a fun game with new people in a scenario built for fun. The store had battle engines at 25% off so I picked up my first one, a Cygnar Storm Strider. I also picked up some Infinity game models and another GW Garden of Morr (to go with one i already have but did not put together yet) which will be some of the next items i put together.
