From JR Mini comes these Graveside dirt Mounds. They are cheap, go really well with my GW Gardens of Morr terrain, and is a good size. You could even have small black felt or foam cut out for the hole if you wanted (would make a good trench beside it).
I primed them with Krylon black.
Brushed roughly with dark brown dollarstore paint.
Drybrushed with lighter dollarstore brown.
Then painted the metal parts with GW Boltgun metal and the wooden handles with dollarstore tan.
The only complaint is that they chip easily so i'll have to spray some protective coating on them to make my paint last.
