The Malifaux Child is a totem but also a mercenary so can be hired by any master for an extra soulstone. It can also heal models and cannot be charged. This model shines when using its master's non-damage dealing casting actions, which it can cast itself. This is the 1e metal version of the plastic one out now but the sculpt has barely changed. The 2e version is here.
Started primed white and gave it a GW Nuln Oil wash. Skin was painted with Khardic Flesh, drybrushed with Midlund Flesh, and lightly drybrushed with Ryn Flesh. Jacket was painted with Thamar Black, drybrushed with Ironhull Grey, and lightly drybrushed with Bastion Grey.
SHirt was painted with Menoth White Highlight and drybrushed with Morrow White. Hair was painted with Khador Red Base and drybrushed with Khador Red Highlight. Pants were painted with Ordic Olive, drybrushed with Thrall Flesh. Scythe handles were painted with Bloodstone and blades painted with Pig Iron.
Base was done with the Basius 2 Homestead plate. Painted dollarstore black, Heavy Unbral Umber, drybrushed Bloodstone, and lightly drybrushed with Rucksack Tan. The entire model was washed with GW Agrax Earthshade and a little GW Blood for the Blood God was used on the blades and drippings on the floor. The outer base was painted with Mouldy Ocre.
