Sentry Box is without a doubt the largest game store I have ever been in. Based in Calgary, Alberta it boasts over 13000 square feet of gaming items over two floors. There is plenty of parking in front and behind. The store has been running, at various places, since the early 1980's.
The upper area has some display cases with used miniatures for sale. The rest of it is dedicated for gaming space whether miniature, board, role playing or card games. It also has cool decor.
Going down the stairs (wheelchair entry available at the back) you are treated to tons of games. One note, if the price tag has an X after the price it is in US funds and you have to use the conversion sheets to determine the price in Canadian funds. That way the owner does not have to change prices whenever there is a huge fluctuation in currency up or down.
I spent a good three and a bit hours there on one day and an hour the next day. Its easy to see why. The stairs by the Darth Vader manikin, on the right, goes to the military and historical section. This could be a store in its own right.
If you are ever in Calgary, or passing near, its worth the stop!
