Strongbox is an incredibly slow model for the Guildball Union team. Not great TAC either but can knockdown on a result of 1. Can give confidence and has great armour and tough hide. Also the Shelling Out ability grants nearby models a bonus to TAC and bonus MP when taking out an enemy model. It comes in the Bloody Coin box set.

Avarisse and Greede
Avarisse and Greede are an interesting pair of models for the Union in Guildball. Together Greede gives Avarisse a bonus to TAC. Separately when Greede is within 1" of Avarisse he grants Avarisse a small bonus to TAC and a non-momentous knockdown result to all plays. Besides having tough hide, Avarisse has mostly damage plays. Greede can single out opponents and damage results. They are available in the Shadow of the Tyrant box.
I magnetized the model so that Greede can detach and the harness box put on Avarisse.

Decimate
Decimate, a Union Player for Guildball, is a great support model. Excellent TAC, fast movement, good kick, lots of dodges on the playbook, second wind and thousand cuts charachter plays, and has anatomical precision. It si available in the Shadow the Tyrant box.

Kings of War Tournament at EG
Played in a local Kings of War small tournament last weekend with five other players, at Everything Games. There was a good mix of forces and some fantastically painted ones. My Kingdoms of Men "Grey Empire" forces were woefully underdone but that is a project for next year. In the three rounds I lost the first one horribly, lost by a bit in the second, and was frighteningly brutal with a win in the final round. Good fun moving little plastic dudes in formation.

Rage
Rage is a Union player for the Guildball game. Rage can charge for free, attack again if it damaged a model causes bleed, can tool up friends, and cause concussions. Unfortunately cannot benefit from friendly plays or character traits. It is available in the Shadow of the Tyrant box.

Harry 'The Hat'
Harry 'The Hat' is a beatstick model that knocks down with relative ease, assists friends with teamwork actions, can goad the enemy, throws moltov cocktails, and when danaged grants two momentum. Minx
Minx is a very fast, especially against damaged targets. Also charges for free, which is good for the two maximum influence on it, gives snared to damaged models, and further lowers defense with a screeching banshee playbook or character play result. Also dodges four inches at the end of any activation where it damaged an enemy model. Can take out enemy models but excells at setting them up for other friends to do the job. Gaslands
Gaslands is a post-apocalyptic vehicular combat game by Mike Hutchinson and published by Osprey Wargames. It is mainly playable with standard Hotwheels/Matchbox size 20mm scale vehicles but is scale-able to just about anything. You can also get it as well as token, templates, and a whole lot more from Mike Hutchingson's website here.
I played a lot of Car Wars in my teenage years but it was a little cumbersome at times but very detailed for car construction. This game system turns it on its head and provides simple car construction and simple yet elegant mechanics for playing a more relaxed format of game. Add to that the ability to modify toy cars and I was sold.
The book is only 64 pages and is mostly meat and potatoes with only a half page for the background of the world. As the author says at the end of the book, the them players want can change from full Max Max to wacky races to NASCAR and everything in between.
The phases of a turn are divided by gears and cars move and shoot in gears they are at and lower gears. Therefore if you are in gear 3, you go in gears 1, 2, and 3. Also if you speed up in one of those gears, you also go in the higher gear too. When you move, you select a movement template and what you tough you must use! Some templates give shift bonuses at lower gears and hazard results for high ones. Then you roll the amount of dice equal to your handling score; 2 to 5 depending on the vehicle. The Shift result removes a hazard token, shifts up or down a gear, or cancels another result. Hazard results give you a hazard token and if you get 6 of them you might flip and wipe out. Slide means the slide template must be added to the template chosen and you get a hazard token. Then you move the vehicle and check for flip if you have more than 6 tokens. Then apply any Spin result and gain a hazard token checking again for a flip. There is always a chance of collisions (intentional and non-intentional). If the vehicle is fine after all this, then it can attack with whatever weapons it has as long as it has one crew per weapon.
Vehicle creation is detailed enough for lots of variation which makes me look forward to come creative hobby design.
There are various scenarios to play as well, from races to running over zombies to monster truck smash...etc.
The designers website has lots of helpful downloads so you do not have to photocopy from the back of the book. Templates too.

Here is how the slide template looks like next to a swerve template. a sucsessful roll would mean the vehicle goes from one end of the swerve template to the other side but if an uncancelled slide result happened then they would go sideways at the slide template end.

Lastly the dice. You don't need them but they are more handy than looking up the results on normal dice.
I bought this toy car haul while waiting for the rules for $50 and they will be a fantastic way to make factions and gangs.

Fangtooth
Fangtooth is a bulky Union player for Guildball. He wants to play with his friends but with foul odor making the area nearby rough ground its hard to. Plus his heroic play damages friends around him for a damage and movement benefit. The model does have glutenous mass to negate the first time he is hit each turn and his playbook, with lots of damage, giving out bleed, and the potent unmasking are noteworthy abilities. It is available in the Union Bloody Coin box.

Snakeskin
Snakeskin for the Union Guildball team is a multi-purpose model. With shadowlike and clone, it can get out of trouble and nimble and charmed male can keep it safe. With a decent kick, solid playbook, and venomous strike its hard to do everything you want with a 2/4 Influence score. Available in the Union Bloody Coin box.

Started primed white. Painted grey areas with Greycoat Grey, drybrushed mix of Bastion Grey/Beaten Purple, then lightly drybrushed mix Trollblood Highlight/Beaten Purple. Orange parts painted Khador Red Highlight and drybrushed Ember Orange. Metals painted Pig Iron and highlighted Quicksilver.
Leathers painted Bloodtracker Brown and drybrushed Beast Hide. Scarf, in Solthecian blue, was painted Coal Black, drybrushed Cygnar Blue Base, lightly drybrushed mix Cygnar Blue Highlight/Menoth White Highlight.

Gutter
Gutter is a slicing and dicing machine for the Union in Guildball. Not only can the model draw those nearby closer but can give damage to all models withing range. Also negates a point of armour as well as heals a point of damage when it deals damage. Model is in the Shadow of the Tyrant box.

Coin
Coin is a mascot for the Guildball Union team. In an attack he can hamstring an enemy model and can follow an enemy model if it moves away from it. Also during a turn it can give a nearby friendly model an influence and a free Bonus Time. This model is available in the Shadow of the Tyrant box.
Started primed white. Painted body with Greycoat Grey, drybrushed mix of Bastion Grey/Beaten Purple, then lightly drybrushed mix Trollblood Highlight/Beaten Purple. Scales were lightly drybrushed with mix Trollblood Highlight/Beaten Purple/Menoth White Highlight.
Eyes painted Necrotite Green. Rope painted Thamar Black, drybrushed Mouldy Ochre, lightly drybrushed Cygnar Yellow.

Blackheart
Original leader of the Union in Guildball, Blackheart is a slippery fellow. With shadowlike, lots of dodge effects in the playbook, and the misdirection and butchery with character plays he is a good model for scoring goals or setting up the beatdown of an opposing player. He is available in the Shadow of the Tyrant box set.
